The Duties, Duties and Powers of the Director General shall be as follows:-
(a) Nepal ………. To regulate, organize and control the entry, presence and departure of foreigners within.
(b) Allowing foreigners to travel.
(c) Issuance of visas as specified and extension of visas.

(c1) Cancellation of travel permit given as per clause (b) or visa issued or extended as per clause (c) as specified. .
(d) Arranging the arrival and departure of Nepali citizens.
(e) To do other work according to the instructions given by the Government of Nepal from time to time.
